Children's Choir of Waukesha

Welcome to the Children's Choir of Waukesha

The Children's Choir of Waukesha has touched the lives of grade school and high school students in the area for over 30 years. It is a choral program that spans grades 6-12 in two different choirs. Students experience the magic of making music with their voices in an enjoyable yet disciplined musical setting. Activities include part-singing, sight singing, and ear training, along with refining vocal production, improving intonation, and increasing music reading and writing skills. A variety of musical styles are performed. Opportunities to audition for honor choirs are offered.

The Singing Tree is a joyful, fun-filled program with a 30+ year history of introducing preschool children with their parents to the pleasures of music and movement. Using a research-based curriculum that is developmentally appropriate for the learning styles of young children, classroom music and movement activities encourage vocal development, rhythmic and tonal development, growth in language skills, improved auditory discrimination and memory skills, small and large motor skill development, and the ability to socialize with other children and adults in the class. The program is based on family interaction and participation. It is the intent of the program that the musical activities presented in class will become part of the family experiences at home. There are classes for preschool through kindergarten-age children.
